Marie Debor is an accomplished affordable housing professional with more than two decades of experience in real estate development, specializing in high-impact, multifamily and mixed-use projects across California’s most competitive urban markets. As Vice President of New Construction at Community Preservation Partners (CPP), Marie leads the company’s efforts to grow its new construction platform, overseeing complex development strategies from initial concept through financing and execution in all markets.
Marie has successfully repositioned former public housing sites and delivered multi-phased communities across high-barrier urban markets. She also brings extensive transactional experience, having secured over a half-billion dollars in public and private financing and closed numerous complex transactions and land deals in major California cities.
Before joining CPP, Marie held senior development roles at The John Stewart Company, BRIDGE Housing Corporation, and Related Companies. She is widely recognized for her leadership, relationship-building with public agencies, and ability to navigate complex projects in high-barrier markets with innovative, cost-effective solutions.
Marie earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of San Diego.
