The California based company Community Preservation Partners has officially announced its purchase of the Royal Arms apartments in Front Royal and plans for the property over time. CPP is an affordable housing rehabilitation company that owns more than 7,200 units and has over $1.5 billion invested in communities across the United States. Its $9.5 million purchase of Royal Arms means that it can get started on an $8 million renovation of the property this winter, which it will work to complete by the end of 2020. The company has plans to update kitchens and bathrooms, install new windows, doors, and flooring put in place a new HVAC system and add energy-efficient appliances. CPP senior project manager John Fraser said Tuesday (2/26/2019) that they have “designed the rehabilitation of Royal Arms to act as a catalyst for the broader Front Royal community.”
