Vice President of Development

As Vice President of Development at Community Preservation Partners (CPP), Belinda Lee is a collaborative leader who has earned a reputation for strengthening CPP’s development strategy and team leadership nationwide. With more than 16 years of experience in affordable housing, Belinda is a cornerstone of CPP, overseeing project managers and assistant project managers across the company’s West and East Coast teams and bringing deep organizational and development expertise to CPP’s expanding national portfolio.

During her tenure at CPP, Belinda led the effort to standardize construction and design guidelines nationwide, ensuring new developments are functional, durable, and built with lasting quality for residents. Her leadership has also extended CPP’s reach into new markets, including Tennessee, Oregon, and Arizona, reflecting her ability to adapt to shifting market conditions and increasingly complex deal structures.

In this role, Belinda provides strategic guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure deals progress smoothly and meet CPP’s high standards, while remaining closely involved in closing out key projects. Her ability to pair rigorous development oversight with hands-on mentorship is key to CPP’s continued growth across a growing number of markets.

A trusted leader within CPP, Belinda is known for her collaborative leadership style and commitment to mentorship, particularly among the many younger team members she has helped develop into confident, capable professionals. In recognition of her impact, she was named CPP’s 2025 Employee of the Year.

Belinda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Community and Regional Development from the University of California, Davis, and a Master’s in Public Administration.
