In 2018, CPP completed its $73 million rehabilitation project at the 268-unit Summerfield Apartments in Indio, Calif., following the purchase of the sprawling multi-family affordable housing community in November 2015. The improvements are vast and designed to enhance the quality of life for approximately 1,000 residents. Summerfield Apartments was originally constructed in 1970. It was purchased from a private developer using a structure that preserves the affordability of the apartments for 55 years. It is the largest tax credit asset in the city of Indio.
