Job Description:

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Assistant provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for all matters pertaining to the executive office. The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission- and results-driven.

  • A multitasker comfortable with shifting priorities and can handle matters expeditiously, often with deadline pressures
  • – An organized team player, who can proactively make appointments while prioritizing requests.
  • – An individual who can plan and coordinate business events with multiple participants, including political fundraising and industry events.

We want you to:

  • Complete a broad variety of tasks for the CEO.
  • Provide smooth communication directly, and on behalf of the CEO with board members and senior management, while maintaining credibility, trust and support.
  • Compose and prepare correspondence that can be confidential or sensitive in nature, to facilitate the CEO’s ability to effectively lead the company.
  • Complete special projects with a hands-on approach, working independently from conception to completion.
  • Manage an active calendar of appointments, which includes arranging travel plans, itineraries and agendas along with compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
  • Coordinate and ensure the CEO’s schedule is followed with no conflicting appointments and that the CEO is well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience supporting executives.
  • The ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations.
  • strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills.
  • ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities is essential for success.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
